Position Overview:

The Forward Deployment Architect is our most senior customer-facing technical role. You will own design and solution of Ozonetel’s most complex, high-value enterprise deployments — designing systems that are scalable, resilient, and tightly aligned with each customer’s long-term AI strategy.

Where a Forward Deployment Engineer builds and deploys, you design the blueprint. You will set technical standards for the deployment , work with team of FDEs, engage with C-level stakeholders, and design solution how Ozonetel’s platform integrates into mission-critical enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design
  • Lead the architecture of large-scale, multi-system deployments involving telephony, CRM, data pipelines, AI/NLP, workforce management platforms and other business systems.
  • Understand business requirements and map them into product and AI workflows.
  • Guide internal teams on how AI-enabled workflows, copilots, assistants, and prompt-driven experiences should be designed and delivered.
  • Support solution demos, workshops, customer discussions, and executive presentations when required.
  • Define integration patterns, API design standards, and data flow architectures for enterprise customers with complex environments.
  • Produce detailed architecture documents, solution design reviews, and technical proposals for strategic accounts.
  • Evaluate customer infrastructure (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) and recommend deployment models that balance performance, security, and cost.
  • Own technical risk assessment for every major deployment — identify gaps before go-live, not after.
Pre-Sales & Strategic Engagement
  • Partner with sales and account leadership on enterprise deals — presenting solution proposals, answering deep technical questions, and building customer confidence.
  • Conduct discovery workshops with customer CIOs, CTOs, and enterprise architects to understand business objectives and translate them into a technical roadmap.
  • Author and review RFP/RFI responses for technically complex or regulated-industry accounts (BFSI, healthcare, government).
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level customer stakeholders throughout the relationship lifecycle.
  • Do the project effort estimation and costing
Deployment Practice Leadership
  • Define and maintain the team’s integration playbooks, design and solution templates, and reusable deployment frameworks.
  • Conducting design reviews, pair-programming sessions, and post-deployment retrospectives.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for code, documentation, and handoffs across the deployment team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in deployment velocity and customer time-to-value.
  • Track project cost and ensure its in control
  • Cross-Functional Influence
  • Be the primary technical escalation point for critical production issues at tier-1 accounts.
  • Bring structured, data-backed customer feedback to the product and engineering teams — influencing roadmap prioritization.
  • Collaborate with the security and compliance team to ensure deployments meet enterprise and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, RBI guidelines, etc.).
  • Document solution and complex use cases that extend Ozonetel’s internal knowledge base.
Required Skill Set:
Must-Have
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting — with at least 2 years in a senior customer-facing role.
  • Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise integrations involving multiple systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouses, messaging platforms).
  • Deep expertise in REST APIs, event-driven architectures, webhooks, and middleware patterns.
  • Strong prior experience in Python, Java, or Node.js; ability to write and review production-grade code.
  • Hands-on prior experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and enterprise infrastructure concepts (load balancing, HA, DR, VPNs).
  • Strong prior experience with AI/NLP integrations — chatbots, voice bots, sentiment analysis, or real-time transcription.
  • Exceptional communication skills — you can present a complex solution to a board and explain an API payload to a junior developer with equal clarity.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with both technical depth and business orientation
 Good to Have
  • Background in cloud telephony, VoIP, SIP, WebRTC, or contact center platforms (CCaaS).
  • Experience in regulated industries: BFSI, healthcare, or government technology.
